Oman Hotels Draw Tourists of All Kinds, and There Is a Hotel to Suit Each of Them

Oman hotels offer a range of accommodations for all travelers, from low-budget adventurers to those who want only the best in luxury.

Anyone who has enjoyed Muscat holidays knows the Al-Bustan Palace Hotel is not just the best of Muscat hotels, but the best of Oman hotels, period. The Al-Bustan is just outside Muscat’s city center, on a private beach, surrounded by lush greenery and secluded by a stark mountain backdrop. The Al-Bustan glitters inside and out, with gourmet restaurants, upscale boutiques, impeccable service, and luxurious guestrooms.

There is no shortage of other luxury hotels in Muscat. For those who want sophistication closer to the city action, there are several to choose from: any of Shangri La’s Barr Al Jissah locations, Chedi, Grand Hyatt, Sheraton, and InterContinental, all of which have private beaches.

For those who want class but on a budget, Muscat offers Radisson Blu, Crowne Plaza, Midan, and many others.

For those on a tight budget and with a sense of adventure, Beach Hotel and Corniche Hotel are good picks. Corniche Hotel, as its name suggests, sits directly on the ancient corniche and is just a few minutes walk from the world-famous Muttrah Souk.

Salalah, Oman’s second largest city, offers a similar but smaller range of hotels, including Hilton, Crowne Plaza, and Marriott. The Sohar Beach Hotel, while not the most luxurious hotel in Sohar, is charming and clean, with a real Omani ambience. The Falaj Daris Hotel in Nizwa is basic and comfortable, with the feel of an Omani fort.
